Sasol Mainstream Programme<\/h1>\n

Sasol Mainstream bursaries is a performance-based programme with a work-back \/ pay-back obligation.<\/p>\n

This is an all-inclusive bursary offered to talented individuals who are planning to s<\/em>tudy full-time<\/em><\/strong> towards an undergraduate \/ postgraduate degree, to pursue\u00a0selected Engineering, Science and Technology qualification for applicants nationally.<\/p>\n

To be considered, you must be a South African citizen<\/em><\/strong>, currently registered or qualifying for possible registration at an approved South-African <\/strong>University <\/strong><\/em>or University of Technology<\/strong><\/em> for the following year.<\/p>\n

Applications may be submitted for degrees (no diplomas<\/strong><\/em>) in one of the following fields of study:<\/p>\n

Bursaries for this intake are only awarded in the following study fields:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Undergraduate Studies (B.Eng. \/ B.Sc.)<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

  2. Chemistry (Hons. is a requirement for Sasol)<\/em><\/li>\n
  3. Civil Engineering<\/li>\n
  4. Data Science (Computer Science \/ Mathematics \/ Operations Research \/ Statistics)<\/em><\/li>\n
  5. Electrical Engineering<\/li>\n
  6. Electronic Engineering<\/li>\n
  7. Geology\u202f(Hons. is a requirement for Sasol)<\/em><\/li>\n
  8. Industrial Engineering<\/li>\n
  9. Mechanical Engineering<\/li>\n
  10. Metallurgy (Hons. is a requirement for Sasol)<\/em><\/li>\n
  11. Mining Engineering<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Postgraduate (M.Sc. \/ M.Eng. \/ PhD.)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

      To support economic growth demands in South Africa and to satisfy our own requirements for highly skilled postgraduate in the science and engineering disciplines.\u00a0 Sasol, in general, awards postgraduate bursaries for M.Sc., M.Eng. and PhD. studies in Engineering.<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Sasol Foundation Programme<\/h1>\n

        The Sasol Foundation is offering all-inclusive bursaries to talented individuals who are planning to study full-time towards an undergraduate degree or diploma to pursue Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) for applicants nationally. To be considered, you must be a South African citizen and have acceptance or provisional acceptance for studies at a South African public<\/strong> University or University of Technology for the following year.<\/p>\n

        The Sasol Foundation is also offering STEM and Non-STEM bursaries exclusively<\/strong> for qualifying children of Sasol employees, Sasol Khanyisa\/Inzalo shareholders as well as applicants from Sasol fence-line communities.<\/p>\n

        Sasol Foundation reserves the right to select qualifying individuals based on academic performance, household income, acceptance to University\/University of Technology as well South African citizenship.<\/p>\n

        Please note that applicants who are in Grade 12 this year, must submit the\u00a0Grade 11 final<\/strong> results. All other applicants may submit end of year results whichever year they have completed Grade 12.           Application Criteria (Undergraduates)<\/strong><\/h1>\n

          Undergraduate and University of Technology needs<\/strong><\/p>\n

          Minimum requirements:\u00a0 Grade 12 (Current Grade 12 students will apply with Grade 11 results)<\/h4>\n

          Bursaries can be accessed by those in matric or those who have completed matric but have not started with their first year of the studies.<\/p>\n
