Computer Engineering<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Applicants need not have a formal project proposal ready but should know in which area of chemistry or chemical engineering they would like to study and should be able to discuss possible topics which would support the current sustainability imperatives.<\/p>\n<p>Successful candidates will engage with Sasol technical experts and academic supervisors to finalise a project proposal.<\/p>\n<p>Students interested in an <strong>Honours Degree<\/strong> or <strong>4th year<\/strong> studies should apply under South African Undergraduate studies, with the relevant year of study.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;How do I qualify?&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;how-do-i-qualify&#8221; el_class=&#8221;qualify&#8221;][vc_column_text]<strong>The main criteria used in the selection of successful applicants are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Postgraduate bursaries will be awarded for full-time studies exclusively<\/li>\n<li>Applicants must have completed or are currently in the final year preceding the PG degree he\/she will be registered for next year.<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of 65% average must have been obtained in Hons\/4th year<\/li>\n<li>South African citizen (ID document\/card)<\/li>\n<li>Post-graduate studies must be at a recognised and approved South African university \u2013 NB. No consideration\/approval for studies abroad will be provided.<\/li>\n<li>Applicant should have an exceptional academic record<\/li>\n<li>Applicant with a criminal record will not be considered.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;What does a bursary include?&#8221; tab_id=&#8221;what-does-a-bursary-include&#8221; el_class=&#8221;include&#8221;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Sasol postgraduate bursars get a monthly stipend for the duration of their studies, from which they pay for registration fees, tuition, research cost, accommodation and all other expenses related to their studies. No additional cost\/expenses will be covered by Sasol.<\/li>\n<li>The mentioned stipend is pre-determined and will be paid from the date that proof of registration for the degree involved can be submitted.<\/li>\n<li>Access to Sasol technical mentors for support during studies.<\/li>\n<li>Once finished with their studies, Sasol postgraduates have the opportunity to join the Sasol Graduate Development programme as a Scientist-in-Training or Engineer-in-Training. Click on this button before you exit or continue to the next section.<\/li>\n<li>If a section is incomplete and you click Submit, the page will give you error messages.<\/li>\n<li>You may log out from the application form and use the login screen to complete your application form at a later stage before date of closure.
